It will not leave a soapy residue behind that interferes with coating adhesion.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR:
It is formulated for industrial, commercial, and interior and exterior pressure washing applications. Aerogreen 4130 - Industrial Cleaner & Degreaser is essential for maintaining cleanliness and removing stains from surfaces. It can be used as a cleaner before inspection and repairs for equipment by removing the oils, dirt, grease, waxes, polishing compounds, salts, soluble oils, and drilling and cutting compounds from the surface. Aerogreen 4130 - Industrial Cleaner & Degreaser can be safely used in between primer and topcoat and as a final cleaning shipping.
HOW IT WORKS:
It reduces surface tension, dissolves or breaks down substances, suspends oily residues, and lifts and loosens dirt. Aerogreen 4130 - Industrial Cleaner & Degreaser combines chemical properties and mechanisms to achieve thorough and efficient cleaning results.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
Ambient temperature: Apply between 40-90 degrees °F
Use as pre-soak: Dilute Aerogreen 4130 3:1 with water. Spray the area to be cleaned using a pump sprayer. Let soak for 10-15mins. Rinse using a pressure washer (1000-3000psi). Dry with an air hose or clean cloth before painting.
Use a pressure washing system: Wet the surface to be cleaned with water. Set dilution jets between 5-20%, depending upon the level of contaminants to be removed. Drop the feeder hose into Aerogreen 4130 - Industrial Cleaner & Degreaser solution to draw into the pressure washer. Clean the area and dry it with air or use a clean cloth.
Adjust the pressure: To wash dirt, grime, and soils, keep the pressure level between 1500psi and 1800psi.
Choosing the correct nozzle: Wide-Fan nozzles are often preferred when pressure washing exterior painted surfaces. Available in yellow (15°), green (25°), white (40°), or black (65°) fan tips. Red (0°) is not recommended for washing.
Divide large areas: Break large areas into sections and wash from the top down, using long strokes. To avoid damaging walls, keep the nozzle at a 45° angle and spray from a minimum distance of 12 inches. If pressure is increased, move the nozzle further away from the surface.
Scrub heavy soiled areas: Use a rotating scrub brush, power broom, or a sponge in conjunction with Aerogreen concentrate to remove stains or pre-treat areas before the final power washing.
