DESCRIPTION:
Immersion-Ultrasonic Degreasers: Three types of immersion systems are Cavitation (Adjulift), Ultrasonic, and Solution Turbulation. They provide complete immersion in recessed areas in contact with Aerogreen 4150. High-frequency sound waves produce an intense microscopic scrubbing action at the surface of the substrate. The energy released (produced by millions of microscopic bubbles imploding in the cleaning solution) heightens chemical reactivity and strips away contaminants from the surface of the substrate—high-velocity agitation of Aerogreen 4150 around and through the parts. The up/down motion swirls the solution over surfaces, dispersing the dirt and contaminants.
Spray Cabinet Washers: Spray cabinet washers are designed to clean large parts placed directly on a retractable turntable or batches of small parts loaded in baskets. This heavy-duty industrial parts washer combines pressure, heat, and Aerogreen 4150 to clean and degrease parts to specification within minutes.
Standard Parts Washer: There are many types of standard aqueous parts washers designed to use Aerogreen 4150 to replace the use of c solvent parts washers in maintenance shops, garages, and tool shops. These parts washers are designed specifically for aqueous cleaners such as Aerogreen 4150. These washers are engineered and developed to be low maintenance and cost-effective for years of trouble-free parts cleaning.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
Heated Immersion Tanks:
Follow the equipment manufacturer's specified procedures.
Dilute water with Aerogreen 4150 as follows:
- Light soils - 3-6%,
- Medium soils - 6-10%
- Heavy soils - 10-15%
Set the temperature to 140-190F.
Set the timer for the cleaning cycle as follows:
- Light oils and greases - 5-10 min
- Medium oils and greases - 10-20 min
- Heavy oils and greases - 20-45 min
(For intricate parts, add 10 minutes to the cycle)
Utilize oil skimmer once the machine has cooled.
The daily pH reading should be at least 8.5. If this occurs, the solution should be adjusted back to the normal pH using a proportioner or manually.
As new water is added as make-up, add the diluted solution one gallon at a time to make up for loss due to drag out and evaporation.
Rinse all parts, dry with forced air, or hand wipe with a clean cloth.
Cold Water Immersion Tanks and Cold Water Parts Washers:
4150 - Immersion Tank Cleaner is diluted with water for use in parts cleaners in the same ratios as solvent cleaners. Please refer back to equipment manufacturers specifications. Heat is not required.
The oil-splitting properties of Aerogreen 4150 will provide extended bath life compared to solvents.
- Light Soils: Dilute 4:1 (4 parts water : 1 part cleaner)
- Medium Soils: Dilute 3:1 (3 parts water : 1 part cleaner)
- Heavy Soils: Dilute 2:1 (2 parts water: 1 part cleaner)
SAFETY/CAUTION:
Rubber gloves are recommended to prevent drying of the skin. Goggles are recommended to protect eyes if splashing is expected. When heated above 125 F, mechanical or local ventilation is required. When using products in steam cleaning or pressure washing applications, wear a rainsuit and boots to keep clothes dry. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid getting into the eyes. If contact occurs, flush with running water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. It may cause dryness of the skin with prolonged use; wash hands with cold water and apply a hand lotion.
