For the wipe-on/wipe-off method before painting: Dip a clean, lint-free cloth into Aerogreen 4220 Wood Cleaner diluted 3:1 with water (3 parts water: 1 part Aerogreen 4220). Wring the cloth out so that it is saturated but not dripping. Wipe a small area at a time to remove dirt, oils, and other contaminants. Wipe the same area dry with a clean cloth to remove all the contaminants and ensure the surface is dry before painting.
For use in a pump sprayer: Dilute Aerogreen 4220 Wood Cleaner 3:1 (3 parts water: 1 part Aerogreen4220). Spray in sections to remove contaminants. Remove loosened soils by wiping the surface with a clean, dry cloth to remove all the contaminants and ensure the surface is dry before painting.
For the final prep before shipping: Dilute Aerogreen 4220 Wood Cleaner 3:1 (3 parts water: 1 partAerogreen 4220) and use the directions above for the wipe-on/wipe-off method to clean the freshly painted surface after all components are assembled onto the item. The item is ready to ship to the customer. Dispose of used rags in the trash. Aerogreen 4220 is used as a final prep after applying the paint to the automotive vehicle.
