WHAT IS IT:
4175 - Ink & Coating Remover is designed to remove ink and various coatings from surfaces. It contains chemicals that break down the molecular bonds of the ink or coating, making it easier to dissolve, soften, or remove through rinsing or wiping. It is 100% readily biodegradable, non-toxic, and water-soluble. By substituting toxic cleaners like acetate/alcohol, mineral spirits, isopropyl acetate, and other VOC solvents with 4175, you not only benefit from its exceptional capabilities as an ink, coating, tar, and adhesive remover but also contribute to environmental protection and ensure the safety of employees. WHAT IS IT USED FOR:
It is a highly effective alternative to current VOC solvents for removing various inks, adhesives, paints, and coatings. It varnishes on cleaning equipment, industrial printing presses, blanket rollers, conveyor rollers, and industrial floors.
HOW IT WORKS:
Ink and coating removers work by applying chemicals that break down the molecular bonds of the ink or coating, allowing it to dissolve or soften. The remover penetrates the layers, weakens the bond with the surface, and suspends the dissolved particles.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
Cleaning of Automatic UV lines: UV coatings will not cure unless exposed to UV light or extreme heat. UV coatings will always remain in a liquid state. This makes cleaning quite simple with Aerogreen 4175. To clean rollers, brushes, and roller drums, flush the system with Aerogreen 4175 diluted 3:1 (3 parts water: 1 part Aerogreen 4175).
Cleaning of roller drum and the exterior of machine: Dilute Aerogreen 4175 with water 3:1 (3 parts water: 1-part Aerogreen 4175). Dip a clean, lint-free cloth into the diluted solution. I wore out the cloth so that it was saturated but not dripping. Do not dip the soiled cloth back into the solution. Use the dampened cloth and wipe a small area until the surface is clean. Wipe the same area with a clean, dry cloth to remove all loosened dirt and solution, and ensure the surface is dry. Repeat until the entire drum or machine is clean.
SAFETY/CAUTION:
Rubber gloves are recommended to prevent drying of the skin. Goggles are recommended to protect eyes if splashing is expected. When heated above 125 F, mechanical or local ventilation is required. When using products in steam cleaning and/or pressure washing applications, wear a rainsuit and boots to keep clothes dry. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid getting into the eyes. If contact occurs, flush with running water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. It may cause skin dryness with prolonged use; wash hands with cold water and apply hand lotion.
