WHAT IS IT:
4110 - Paint Prep Cleaner is a liquid concentrate to be diluted with water primarily at the rate of three parts water to one part cleaner. It directly replaces hazardous solvent cleaners, such as lacquer thinner, MIBK, MEK, IPA, acetone, and other high-VOC solvents
WHAT IS IT USED FOR:
It can be used on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates, including aluminum, cast, iron chrome, cold roll, copper, composites, fiberglass, galvanized, mild steel, painted wood, titanium, tin, tool steel, and stainless loop. General industrial, automotive, and architectural job shops and manufacturers primarily use it.
HOW IT WORKS:
Aerogreen 4110 - Paint Prep Cleaner penetrates and adheres to the contaminants when applied to the surface, breaking them down or loosening their bond with the surface, allowing them to be easily wiped away. The quality of the surface preparation is directly related to the final surface coating; therefore, using 4110 - Paint Prep is necessary for excellent and permanent adhesion. Aerogreen 4110 - Paint Prep will ensure a superior surface preparation for all liquid and powder finishes.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
For the wipe-on/wipe-off method before painting: Dip a clean, lint-free cloth into Aerogreen 4110 - Paint Prep diluted 3:1 with water (3 parts water: 1 part Aerogreen 4110). Wring the cloth out so that it was saturated but not dripping. Wipe a small area at a time to remove dirt, oils, and other contaminants. Wipe the same area dry with a clean cloth to remove all the contaminants and ensure the surface is dry before painting.
For use in a pump sprayer: Dilute Aerogreen 4110 - Paint Prep 3:1 (3 parts water: 1 part Aerogreen4110). Spray in sections to remove contaminants. Remove loosened soils by wiping the surface with a clean, dry cloth to remove all the contaminates and ensure the surface is dry before painting.
For the final prep before shipping: Dilute Aerogreen 4110 - Paint Prep 3:1 (3 parts water: 1 partAerogreen 4110) and use the directions above for the wipe-on/wipe-off method to clean the freshly painted surface after all components are assembled onto the item. The item is ready to ship to the customer. Dispose of used rags in the trash. Aerogreen 4110 - Paint Prep is used as a final prep after applying the paint to the automotive vehicle. Aerogreen 4110 - Paint Prep will clean the freshly painted.
COMPATIBILITY:
Aerogreen 4110 - Paint Prep is compatible with most industrial paints, coatings, and primers. It will also/work with powder coatings, lacquers, acrylic enamels, fast-drying coatings, solvent-based coatings, latex and alkyd paints, water-based finishes/primers, polyurethane, automotive clear coats, military coatings, epoxy finishes/primers, plastic finishes/primers, pigmented top coatings, and water-based and alkyd stains.
SAFETY/CAUTION:
Rubber gloves are recommended to prevent drying of the skin. Goggles are recommended to protect eyes if splashing is expected. When heated above 125 F, mechanical or local ventilation is required. When using steam cleaning and pressure washing products, wear a rain suit and boots to keep clothes dry. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid getting into the eyes. If contact occurs, flush with running water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. It may cause dryness of the skin with prolonged use, wash hands with cold water and apply a hand lotion.
