WHAT IS IT:
4015 - Exterior Aircraft Cleaner ensures a high level of cleaning power. It can cover a larger surface area by diluting the concentrated cleaner with water, making it a cost-effective solution.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR:
It is used to restore the appearance of the aircraft, remove stubborn stains, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the exterior surfaces. Aerogreeen 4015 is specifically formulated with powerful cleaning agents that tackle tough stains and residues commonly found on aircraft surfaces. It provides a high level of cleaning effectiveness, helping to restore the appearance of the aircraft.
HOW IT WORKS:
4015 - Exterior Aircraft Cleaner uses powerful cleaning agents and surfactants to penetrate and loosen dirt, grime, grease, and other contaminants on the aircraft's exterior surface. When diluted with water and applied, it breaks down and emulsifies the contaminants, making them easier to remove. After a dwell time, the surface is rinsed to wash away the loosened residues, leaving a clean exterior. The concentrated formula provides strong cleaning power, while the customizable dilution ratios offer flexibility based on the cleaning needs.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
Use on painted and unpainted aircraft and aircraft surfaces: Apply the solution with a brush, foam generator, mop, spray, or sponge. Allow it to remain on the surface for up to 5 minutes and scrub with a soft brush or mop. Rinse thoroughly. DO NOT allow the cleaner to dry before rinsing.
Dilutions recommended for soil types (Water: Cleaner):
Light: (8 parts water : 1 part cleaner)
Medium: (5 parts water : 1 part cleaner)
Heavy: (3 parts water : 1 part cleaner)
Use on exhaust track and rocket blast areas: Dilute three parts water to 1 part 4015 for heavy-duty cleaning of these areas. Apply cleaner by brush, mop, or spray. Allow the cleaner to remain on the surface for 5 to 10 minutes, then scrub with a brush or mop. Rinse thoroughly with water.
Use with Proportioner: Using a single-station multi-dilution proportioning system always ensures correct dilution. Apply diluted cleaner with a brush, foam generator, mop, spray, or sponge.
Spray Application: Spray the aircraft surface using a low-pressure sprayer set at a dilution of 8:1. Allow it to remain on the surface for up to 5 minutes. Do not allow it to dry. Rinse thoroughly with water. Repeat if necessary.
Mop Application: Fill a bucket with the recommended dilution and apply it to the aircraft using a cotton or sponge mop. Allow it to remain on the surface for up to 5 minutes. Do not allow it to dry. Rinse thoroughly with water. Repeat if necessary.
Brush Application: Fill a bucket with the recommended dilution and apply it to the aircraft using a soft brush. Allow it to remain on the surface for up to 5 minutes. Do not allow it to dry. Rinse thoroughly with water. Repeat if necessary.
Foam generator: Rinse the aircraft. Apply cleaner diluted 8:1 by foam generator. Allow it to remain on the surface for up to 5 minutes. Do not allow it to dry. Scrub with a brush or mop and rinse thoroughly with water.
Paint prep: Dilute cleaner 3:1 with water. Dip a clean cloth into the diluted solution and wring it out. Wipe the area to be cleaned with a damp cloth, followed by a second wipe with a clean, dry cloth to remove dissolved contaminants. No rinsing is required.
SAFETY/CAUTION:
Rubber gloves are recommended to prevent drying of the skin. Goggles are recommended to protect eyes if splashing is expected. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid getting into the eyes. If contact occurs, flush with running water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. It may cause skin dryness with prolonged use of hands with cold water, and applying a hand lotion, testing a small part before full-scale scale-operation, is recommended for sensitive aluminum alloys.
